It’s the season to sparkle so for this week’s blog post I thought I’d do a quick round-up of some of my favourite sparkly/sequin pieces on the High Street and my top tips for how to style them…

They’re the perfect day-to-night piece to have in your wardrobe and can be styled in so many ways.
Dress down with black jeans and biker boots, pair with a leather skirt and heels for a smart/casual evening look, layer under chunky knitwear during the day – the possibilities are endless.
The subtle sparkle feels appropriate for daytime without feeling too full on and because it’s lightweight it shows your shape and can easily be tucked or layered. If you don’t already have one then now is the time to rectify that!

They’re high-waisted to give you definition and the buttons/ pockets will create the illusion of curves.
Again, these can be styled down for the daytime (I would choose a soft cashmere knit loosely tucked at the front or a roll neck, tights and boots) or glammed up for evening (matching blazer, silk cami, patterned tights and heels).
Very often we will automatically wear sparkle on the top half but these are a great alternative and great for drawing attention to a fabulous pair of legs!
