This week I’m featuring my top picks from TAE Boutique who I discovered on Instagram a few months ago. After coveting so many pieces from Alex’s gorgeous collection I messaged her to ask if she’d be happy for me to feature my edit on the blog; not only did she say yes, she has also kindly offered a 10% discount to my followers – just enter Anna10 at checkout.
Happy shopping!
Whilst I love Autumn/Winter dressing I am ALWAYS cold, and therefore always looking for ways to keep warm and stay stylish at this time of year.
This cashmere snood and matching wrist warmers are top of my Christmas wish list. You’ll all know by now that I love pops of animal print and I love mixing textures – so when I saw this image of them styled with a leather biker jacket I was sold!
They’d look equally gorgeous with your Winter coat and will go with absolutely any colour. I would most likely keep the snood on and incorporate it into my outfit even once I’m inside.

Mastering how to dress smart/casual for work or social engagements is a common question from my clients. Many workplaces today have a more casual approach to dressing which is great but can also be hard to navigate as everyone’s interpretation will be slightly different.
My advice is to have a mix of items that can be dressed up or down, allowing you to put your own style stamp on them by wearing them in different ways.
A statement shirt like this one is such a versatile piece to have in your wardrobe. Style it with tailored trousers for a smarter office look or dress it down with jeans, a leather skirt or coated skinnies for a smart/casual weekend look.
I would draw out the pops of pink within this shirt with a complimentary lipstick and/or some earrings in a matching shade.

As luxurious as it is soft and snuggly, cashmere is an investment – but one that is well worth making in my opinion.
This beautiful cashmere jumper comes in pink (pictured), grey and navy. I love the subtle detailing around the neck and cuffs and would style this tucked into a leather mini skirt with biker boots, my jeans, trainers and quilted coat for a weekend look or my coated skinnies, a blazer and heeled boots for a smarter feel.
If you’re unsure as to whether to take the plunge with investing in cashmere (or anything else for that matter) then do a bit of fashion maths…
- Figure out roughly how many times you’re likely to wear the item in question in the space of say, two years.
- Now divide the total cost of the item by the number of wears.
- This will give you your ‘cost per wear’ – if that’s a figure you’re happy with then you know you’ll get enough wear from it to justify the price tag.
As you’re unlikely to want to take something like this off, I’m willing to bet it’s a price worth paying.

I would highly recommend checking out the full range over at TAE Boutique as not only do they have gorgeous clothes and accessories, there are so many pieces that are just perfect for gifts too.
